As per the recent government guidance we are pleased to announce that we will be opening our doors on 4th July 2020.

These have been turbulent and unprecedented times, but we will come back stronger than ever. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our valued customers. The Kingswell Hotel & Kings Kitchen is nestled in the heart of historic Oxfordshire, just a stones throw away from the famous ancient Ridgeway. Starting life as a 16th century farmhouse, our Grade II  listed building has bags of character &  plethora of little touches designed to make your stay or visit here feel like a home from home.

Our 21 spacious & richly appointed guestrooms offer a perfect beginning for journeys & adventure in & around Oxfordshire.

We are close to the A34 & M4, with excellent transport links into London, Oxford & Wales. A fast train to London typically takes around 45 minutes from our local station, Didcot Parkway.

The University Town of Oxford  with its rich architecture & museums is a short 14 miles away; with boat trips & punts for hire in the summer & cosy winter markets there is something for everyone.

Blenheim Palace is miles away, the birthplace of Winston Churchill & home to stunning grounds & rich history.

Harwell Science & Innovation Centre is less than  2 miles away, we are uniquely situated to offer a comfortable home from home for those visiting & working at the campus.

Bicester Village designer outlet is a 30 minute drive away for those who fancy a spot of retail therapy.

Scenic walks or cycle rides are always available to those who want to explore the ancient Ridgeway; The 87 miles of path used by our ancestors for centuries.   The Ridgeway passes through North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,  White Horse Hill & as well as the World heritage site of Avebury.
